Ugh, this is the one I'm least happy with so far, but I like... bits of it. And I can't fix it in two hours, so here we go. Also, it may or may not go up on AO3 with this title, depending on how I feel about it over the next couple of days...

Title: Freaks Of A Feather
Ships: I'll come back and fill this in when it's not spoilery for a certain person. It's another attempt at ashenfic, though.
Summary: All three of them are alone, in their own ways.
Notes: Yeah, the Ugly Duckling turned out to be horrible to use, especially with the prompt being "pink". Really not enough stuff that I would want to use in fic is pink... If I'd still had enough time once I worked out what I was doing, I would have added more Fef-POV, but, well.

Title: Seeking By Moonlight
Ship: Karkat<>Gamzee
Summary: In a discarded reality, a clown once made a promise to a poet. But trapped in the Veil with a vicious subjugglator, his life rewritten and his team falling apart, can Karkat Vantas find his way along a path marked by dreams he can never remember?
Notes: Reposting one of my entries from the 2011 HSO. This is still probably my favourite piece out of everything I've written, even though some important details have been jossed since. (And it looks like Gamzee's text might be hard to read on this background. Dammit. I'll toss up a link to AO3 once it's up there, it won't have the same problem.)

Title: In The Greenwood Shade
Ships: Aradia<3Karkat
Summary: Karkat hates ghosts, cryptic arseholish sprites, and anything Equius Zahhak has ever touched, and he's not that fond of frogs either. But even when she drags him on the worst sidequest ever, he still can't manage to hate Aradia Megido.
Notes: Third fic for the fairytale challenge - March's prompts were The Frog Prince and black. ...I don't think this one should be any more upsetting than canon generally is? Though it may help to remember that Karkat has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to mental illness and related issues.

Should I just keep that series title? It really is starting to grow on me...

Title: To Place His Right Hand
Ships: Karkat<3John, Karkat<>Gamzee, John<3Feferi, Karkatc3<(Terezi/Vriska)
Summary: Karkat wants to save the worlds. He also wants an alien prince's heart. The horrorterrors seem to think these two goals are the same goal, but without his voice and with John's alien views on sexuality in the way, someone else might beat him to it.
Notes: Second fic for the Fairy Tale challenge - The Little Mermaid + orange.
Notes 2: Okay, look, it's Karkat as the Little Mermaid, if you're expecting to find no distressing content in here, then you're thinking of the wrong fairytale and also the wrong troll. This is your warning. Tread carefully.

Also, there are about ten minutes left of February in my timezone, I will make another pass through for typos before I repost it to AO3 (probably tomorrow), but for now, if there are any left, I apologise and I will fix them later.

Title: Why You Should Practise Safer Superheroing
Ships: Rose/Kanaya, of some sort or another
Summary: Trollsville is plagued by all sorts of unsavoury folk. It's a good thing that the Jade Sylph is there to take care of them... and a pity that her arch-nemesis finds her a little too distractible. Non-Sgrub superhero AU.
Notes: So I've been poking at this verse for some time, and then, well. This first part's for Femslash February now, but I do want to come back and write at least one proper epic in this verse, with everyone in it (or maybe everyone but Jake). This may or may not be my last thing for FF, depending on how the JadeFef comes out, or doesn't.

So, yeah. One of the several things I thought of when I saw that "another time" prompt at HSO a couple of years ago was trolls in feudal Japan, and I thought why not? And then I decided to go with VanDiemenstuck instead, because it mattered to me a lot more... So here's some Japanese AraKan for Femslash February instead.

Title: Fragrant In The Morning
Ships: Aradia<3Kanaya
Summary: The first time around, Kanaya wasn't there to save her. Her dreams promise her a second chance. Feudal Japan AU.
Note: Contains content that may be distressing for some readers. Tread carefully.

This is probably the only time I'll ever write this pairing, but I saw that line in recent chapters of One Piece and... kind of just had to do it.

Title: Just Like The Girl
Ship: Nami/Tashigi
Summary: They say every girl wants a girl like her mother. For Femslash February (which is probably the only context in which I'll ever actually use the word, but anyway).
Spoilers: Inspired by a line in chapter 696.

There are a few more yuri fics on their way (as well the Johnkat one, which I'm sticking with the long version of after all, since the short one needs a complete rewrite itself - if I finish it later in the year, I may stick it in as another bonus track), but I'm getting this one out of the way while I struggle with titles and headers.

Title: From The Revelation
Ship: Rose<3Vriska
Summary: Bad enough Vriska's trapped alone with a mentally unstable alien in a doomed timeline. Now Rose wants her to accept something even worse.

Notes: Originally written for an HSO 2012 bonus round, for the prompt "Vriska/Rose, metafiction + Lovecraftian horror".

(I was going to post Rumpelkat over on AO3 once I used this one to figure out how it works, but it looks like I'll have to rip out all the pesterlog coding in that and replace it. Fuck.)

That's probably not what I'll end up calling the series. But I want to get Rumpelkat up before it's February in my timezone. So here we go:

Summary: When Terezi's law studies take a turn for the odd, she is forced to seek help from a mysterious anonblood troll whose name, whatever it might be, is definitely not Rumpelstiltskin. Non-Sgrub AU.
Notes: First fruits of the Fairytale Challenge. Though I should probably stop trying to write Terezi-POV. Also, this fic falls into that weird space where I'm not actually sure whether it has distressing content or not? I will remind readers, however, that it features Karkat being Karkat. (Also also, the colours look off in the preview, I suspect it may be this layout. Hm. I may have to investigate that later.)
