That's probably not what I'll end up calling the series. But I want to get Rumpelkat up before it's February in my timezone. So here we go:

Title: Than All The Treasures Of The World
Ships: Karkatc3<(Terezi/Vriska), Terezi<>Sollux, Terezi<3<Gamzee, other Karkat-ships
Summary: When Terezi's law studies take a turn for the odd, she is forced to seek help from a mysterious anonblood troll whose name, whatever it might be, is definitely not Rumpelstiltskin. Non-Sgrub AU.
Notes: First fruits of the Fairytale Challenge. Though I should probably stop trying to write Terezi-POV. Also, this fic falls into that weird space where I'm not actually sure whether it has distressing content or not? I will remind readers, however, that it features Karkat being Karkat. (Also also, the colours look off in the preview, I suspect it may be this layout. Hm. I may have to investigate that later.)

Just took the plunge and signed up for tropebingo. I'd forgotten about the existence of the free space, so I can snag a certain trope I want even if I don't draw it, haha. XD

Now to just hope I don't get "day at the beach"... and also to boldly split new infinitives apparently. Perils of posting in the wee hours.

Happy New Year!

Things I need to do by the end of the year:

1. Figure out which of these fairytales I'm doing and which bonus ones I'm using, and which of the ancient blood-and-bones versions of Cinderella I'm gonna replace Thumbelina with. (I just really hate Thumbelina. And all the modern versions of Cinderella, but the old ones are pretty awesome.) Also whether I'm doing Karkat/Everyone for it or just random rare ships.

II. Work out the rest of my Rumpelstiltskin plot.

C. Find a new place to talk about updates since I can't deal with my dash anymore, and neither can my browser. (It's not the people, it's... the whole tumblr culture I guess, and what that means as far as spoilers and triggery images go.)

(iv) Figure out if I'm actually up to doing this Whoniversary ficathon thing. (And if I have any usable bunnies for Eleven. I guess I could wait for the next month and start with Ten...)

- Figure out what I'm gonna do with Karkat-vs-Rarity now, I did want to un-abandon that but that's a problem now... I guess I don't have to keep up with my dash to maintain that one...

* Try to get into a rhythm of writing here more often, so I don't just feel like I'm stuck in the silent place again.

7. Get Karkat to kiss Eridan on the lips in a context that doesn't involve high school and the undead. You know, like I promised.

Epilogue: Get around to writing up that nightmare I had with the dead violetblood in it, and figure out if I want to actually make a story out of it even though just typing "I want to write a story based on a dream" makes me cringe now because Twilight.

Also, stop writing about my nightmares when the rest of the house is asleep. And also Twilight.


Things I actually might get done by the end of the year:

Maybe 7 if Eri is very very lucky and I can get enough quiet time back to get back into a headspace where I can write it. Which in this house is about as likely as Nepeta suddenly deciding that she was completely wrong about her whole persona and she's actually a dog-person.
Also about as likely as the cat ever not bugging me for food at 3 in the morning and ruining my flow.

Bleh.


EDIT: Oh hey, that's interesting. DW doesn't know that it's daylight savings in my timezone. ...yeah, that may not be so interesting after I get some sleep.
